Female couples & solo women
unfulfilled desire to have children
Female couples and single women also want to fulfil their wish of having their own child. Here there is the possibility of treatment with donor sperm. We will accompany you on your personalised fertility journey.
For more information, please arrange a non-binding initial consultation.
female couples
Many lesbian couples also have a strong desire to have their own child. We support female couples on their personal path to having children: the couples do not have to be married or in a registered partnership.
Female couples have the option of undergoing treatment with donor sperm. Donor sperm treatment can be carried out as part of intrauterine insemination or artificial insemination.
In a non-binding initial consultation, we will inform you about the different treatment options and our co-operating sperm banks. After thorough examinations, we will select the appropriate treatment method together with you and discuss the next steps. Unfortunately, health insurance does not currently cover the costs of treatment.
Treatment with donor sperm requires legal and psychosocial counselling in advance.
Our co-operation partners here are Samenbank Berlin, Berliner Samenbank and the European Sperm Bank.
solo women
The desire to have children is also a matter close to the heart of single women. We also accompany ‘desired solo mothers’ on their way to having their own child.
Here there is the possibility of treatment with donor sperm. Donor sperm treatment can be carried out as part of intrauterine insemination or artificial insemination.
The first step begins with an appointment for an initial consultation. We will be happy to explain the various treatment options to you and provide you with initial information about the sperm banks we co-operate with.
Our co-operation partners here are Samenbank Berlin, Berliner Samenbank and the European Sperm Bank.
After thorough examinations, we will select the most suitable treatment method for you together with you. Unfortunately, health insurance does not currently cover the costs of treatment.
Treatment with donor sperm requires legal and psychosocial counselling in advance. Naming a ‘guarantor person’ is not a prerequisite for us.
The Sperm Donor Register Act:
The Sperm Donor Register Act came into force on 01/07/2018. People who were conceived through sperm donation can obtain information about their parentage from the central sperm donor register from the age of 16. Conversely, the donor does not learn your identity or the name of your child. A donor cannot be registered as the father and inheritance and maintenance rights are not applicable to donors.
