The 8th Endocrinology Symposium (Gynaecology and Urology) will take place in Aachen on 29.11.2024.

As part of the three-day training course, Dr Cornelius Döhmen will also be giving a lecture on the topics of ‘Fertility protection before germ cell-damaging therapy in women, children and men’ and ‘Desire to have children after breast cancer’.

He will present possible measures to preserve fertility that are available before the start of chemotherapy, radiotherapy or surgery and emphasise the importance of specialist advice and information in such cases. He also provides more detailed insights into the desire to have children after breast cancer and discusses the opportunities and risks.
