Today, the Kinderwunschzentrum Niederrhein organised a training course for practising gynaecologists. The workshop was held under the scientific direction of Dr Cornelius Döhmen and provided practical knowledge on the subject of ‘Fallopian tube patency testing using ultrasound’. In the practical part, all training participants were able to learn the treatment method live on a phantom and also gain an insight into the IVF laboratory. 

The aim of the training programme is to give participants an insight into tubal patency testing using ultrasound. This newer and less invasive examination method was included in the guidelines a few years ago and is an important part of the clarification of an unfulfilled desire to have children.
