The ‘Masterclass Endometriosis 2024’ took place from 26-28 September 2024 at the Evangelisches Krankenhaus Bethesda in Mönchengladbach. On 28 September 2024, Dr Cornelius Döhmen was a guest speaker and gave a lecture on ‘Endometriosis and infertility’ to practising gynaecologists.  

The aim of the masterclass was to familiarise the participating doctors with the pathogenesis, diagnosis and treatment of endometriosis. Endometriosis is a factor that can restrict fertility. 

Close consultation between the treating gynaecologist, reproductive physician and surgeon is important here in order to give the patient the best possible chance of realising her desire to have children.
