On 14 March 2026, the 3rd Mönchengladbach Rowing Marathon will take place at the GHTC at 10 a.m. Taking part: Dr Georg Döhmen and his wife Dr Hiltrud Döhmen, who will both be competing for a good cause under the team name "Ki.Nd – Kinderwunschzentrum Niederrhein" (Lower Rhine Fertility Centre). They will cover the classic marathon distance of 42.195 km on an indoor rowing machine. Their planned finish time is 3:15:00 hours. 

The proceeds from this charity campaign will go to two charitable organisations: Insel Tobi e.V. and St. Christophorus Hospiz e.V.

Insel Tobi e.V.: A place for seriously ill children with mental and/or physical disabilities.

St. Christophorus Hospiz e.V.: A place for people in the final stages of their lives.
