General information about acupuncture:

Acupuncture has been used successfully in China for centuries in the treatment of infertility.
Acupuncture, like phytotherapy, is a partial procedure of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM).
From the point of view of TCM, the body is covered with a network of energy pathways, the meridians. On these are points through which energy can be regulated in the body. Scientific studies have shown that acupuncture in the context of an IVF/ICSI therapy can increase the pregnancy rate.

Possible modes of action in case of desire to have a child:

Acupuncture leads to the release of neurotransmitters in the brain that support the release of the hormone GnRH. This can influence the menstrual cycle, ovulation and fertility. Acupuncture promotes blood flow to the uterus. of the uterus. This can support embryo implantation before and after embryo transfer. Acupuncture leads to increased release of endogenous opioids.
